About Us
Physician
Dr. Doan is a board certified ophthalmologist. She started her solo practice in Orange County in 2006. She has offices in Newport Beach and Huntington Beach. Dr. Doan provides pediatric and adult eye care. In addition to performing routine eye exams for contact lenses and glasses, she evaluates and treats a spectrum of ocular diseases including cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, amblyopia, dry eye syndrome and complications from high risk medications such as amiodarone, plaquenil, isoniazid, and interferon. Her areas of interest are cataract surgery and anterior segment surgery. Dr. Doan also offers cosmetic services including cosmetic lid surgery and treatment with Botox, Restylane and Juvéderm.
Dr. Doan is a native Californian. She attended University of California, at Irvine and graduated with honors in Biological Sciences. She received her medical degree from University of Utah, School of Medicine and completed her ophthalmology training at the prestigious Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York. She also completed a research fellowship in ocular pathology at the world renowned John A. Moran Eye Center. Dr. Doan enjoys teaching and worked as an affiliate clinical instructor for New York Presbyterian-Columbia Medical Center.
Dr. Doan comes from a family of physicians. She is the fourth from her family to receive a medical degree. She enjoys being back in California. Her hobbies include running, pilates, skiing, snow boarding and scuba diving.

Our Financial Policy
Prior to or at your first visit, we will require all of your insurance information, including a current insurance identification card, a photo identification card, and any referral or authorization that may be required. If you have any questions regarding your insurance coverage prior to your visit, please call. Applicable co-payments and deductibles will be collected from you for all insurance plans with which we participate. Payment is requested at the time of the office visit for any co-payments or non-insurance service.
